Teacher Awards

Our degreed teachers are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment and educating children based on the philosophy of learning through play, while meeting their emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs.

Some of our teachers awards and and accomplishments are:

VCPC awards: ( Virginia Cooperative Preschool Council)
1996 Outstanding Teaching Award (Teacher of 2 year olds class)
2002 Outstanding Teaching Award (Teacher of 2 year olds class)
2007 Outstanding Teaching Award (Teacher of 4 year olds class)
2008 Outstanding Teaching Award (Teacher of 4 year olds class)
2006 Outstanding Teaching Award (Director for preschool science program implemented)
2009 Outstanding Director Award. Lifetime teaching award. (Teacher of 2 year olds class)

Teacher of 2 year olds class: First teacher representative to VCPC board as such was sent as Virginia representative to PCPI (Parent Cooperative Preschools International) to annual conference in Victoria , BC .

PACT awards: ( Potomac association of coop teachers.. DC, MD, VA)
Teacher of 2 year olds class: Outstanding Regional Teaching Award

PCPI District awards: (Parent Cooperative Preschools International)
Director: Lobbied for revision of new State Licensing Standards for the continuing education requirements for co-oping parents v's degreed teachers.
