Learning Through Play for 70 Years

The Annandale Co-op Preschool Scholarship

Each year the preschool offers one scholarship to a child enrolled in a class at ACPS for the upcoming school year. The scholarship will cover the application fee and the monthly tuition amount equivalent to the least expensive class for the two- and four-year-old/Pre-K classes or either of the three-year-old classes from September to May. If the scholarship recipient is enrolled in the more expensive two- or four-year-old class, the family is responsible for paying the difference in tuition. The family is also responsible for paying the Insurance and Activity fee. The family must be able to provide transportation to and from ACPS as well as fulfill all co-oping responsibilities.
Eligibility is based primarily on family income. Our current guidelines state that, in order to be eligible for the scholarship, a family cannot make more than 3.5 times the current Local Head Start Income Guidelines for Fairfax County. Priority for awarding the scholarship goes to current ACPS families, and to students enrolling in the four-year-old program.
Families who have been offered a spot at ACPS for the upcoming school year can email the Director of Education at director@annandalecoop.org or the President of the School at president@annandalecoop.org to request an application.
