Why Annandale Co-op?
If you are looking for a preschool in Fairfax County, you have a difficult decision ahead of you. There are many important factors to weigh: the right fit for your child, the right fit for your family, your lifestyle, and even your commute. Finding the right preschool in Fairfax County takes a bit of research, time, and soul-searching.
At Annandale Cooperative Preschool, we will not only welcome you into our hallways and classrooms, we will welcome you into our community.

Choosing a Cooperative Preschool
In a word, choosing a cooperative preschool is all about involvement. Parents are in the classroom supervising, interacting, and participating on a regular basis. It quickly becomes less about making snacks and homemade playdough and more about making memories, friends, and a personal investment in your child’s education.
Curriculum
At Annandale Cooperative Preschool, our curriculum is based on the well-tested research of many specialists in the field of Child Development and continues to be created and lovingly implemented by our well-trained and highly experienced teachers. We are proud to be one of the few NAEYC-accredited cooperative preschools and feel strongly that the role of the co-oping parent makes the core of our curriculum that much more meaningful.
Parent Participation
One thing is for certain: Joining a cooperative preschool demonstrates to your child that you have a personal interest in his or her education, and that you are committed to helping them succeed. And if you get a chance to enjoy a little adult time and work on projects and committees that are a bit more stimulating to your “grown-up” mind, all the better for it.
